Intern Programs at OSV


Old Sturbridge Village
is now accepting applications for college-level internships. These internships are excellent opportunities for undergraduate or graduate students interested in American history focusing on the 1830s and the Industrial Revolution and agricultural history as well as the museum education field.

Internship opportunities are available in historical interpretation in our living history museum, primary and secondary education, program development, in diversity, costuming, and marketing.  All interns will have the opportunity to use the research library, spend time in our collections, and observe different levels of management.

While the positions are unpaid, two applicants will be awarded the Moir Intern Scholarship.

College intern as blacksmith
Applicants must have completed at least one year of college before the start of the internship. (Applicants who are younger should know about our Junior Intern program. ) Internship period is ten weeks, from June 1 to August 7, 2010.  Housing may be available for a fee; contact the internship coordinator for more information.  Transportation is not provided.
